A Skyline Country Club Foreclosure Goes Under Contract

This almost totally 2006 re-built (all but 2 bedrooms) Mediterranean home has over 4K square feet and is located on .84 acres high up in prestigious Skyline Country Club Estates, with magnificent soaring Catalina Mountain and city views. This home started out with a list price of 2.6 million, and had it been priced reasonably priced from the beginning, likely would have sold for a lot more. There is another example of the great deals out there in the Catalina Foothills!

Pima Canyon Foreclosure Sells for $1,765,000

2112 E Sentry Ridge Court, a Pima Canyon ultra-contemporary home designed by award- winning architect Kevin Howard, made it to closing today at a fantastic price of $1,765,000! This one was mentioned previously in my blog at which time I thought the beginning list price was $4,499,000, when, in fact, it was much more: $5,900,000 ( 2/08). What were these folks thinking? This house never could have been worth that much! Some lucky buyer got a 7K square foot home (built in 2007) with incredible mountain, Sonoran Desert and city views in coveted Pima Canyon Estates. Real Estate is Always Local, Especially in the Tucson Foothills

Even though many of the newspapers are talking about the big drop in real estate sales, this is not holding true in Tucson-Catalina Foothills area. Sales are holding their own and, in fact, the sales numbers are about the same as they were a year ago during the same time period!

4705 N Via De La Granja (click on address to see the listing) sold for 1.450 million today (off a list price of $1,585,000); this 1992-built, over 6K square foot Mediterrean, also sold in ‘03 for 789K. No doubt it was renovated. See my earlier post (July 10th) for more information on this gorgeous home located off of Hacienda Del Sol in Cat 10.

A Ventana Canyon Mountain Estates Home Goes Under Contract

Only on the market less than 2 months, this home sold for 2.1 million in 2008. It will be interesting to see what this gorgeous two-story home finally sells for.

This one-story home sold for 985K in the Summer of 2005, and was listed again at $1,325,000; as the list price declined, it found a buyer.
